A sport-fishing team aboard "Builder's Choice" celebrates a win at the 2023 Bermuda Triple Crown surrounded by their prizes and winnings.

While all efforts are made to keep this information current, all published rules and awards shall be considered unofficial. Official rules will be distributed and announced at the registration check-in and captains meeting. All participants agree to the terms of these rules by participating in the tournament.

All optional jackpot divisions are 85% payback.

BTC Overall Points Jackpot $5,000
The fee to enter the BTC Overall Points Jackpot is $5,000 and is optional. Teams must register before their first entered tournament fishing day in the series to be eligible. The Bermuda Triple Crown Points Jackpot will be awarded to the top three teams with the most overall series points of the three event series and will be awarded accordingly;
First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%.

Only teams registered in the Bermuda Triple Crown Points Jackpot will be eligible for these cash awards

BTC Big Three Marlin Jackpot $5,000
The fee to enter the BTC Big Three Marlin Jackpot is $5,000 and is optional. Teams must register before their first entered tournament fishing day in the series to be eligible. The BTC Big Three Marlin Jackpot will be awarded to the top three teams with the three largest marlin by weight in the series and will be awarded accordingly; First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%

Only teams registered in the BTC Big Three Marlin Jackpot will be eligible for these cash awards

BTC Heavy Hitter Winner Take All Largest Marlin Jackpot $10,000
The fee to enter the BTC Heavy Hitter Winner Take All Largest Marlin Jackpot is $10,000 and is optional. Teams must register before their first entered tournament fishing day in the series to be eligible. BTC Winner Take All Largest Marlin Jackpot will be awarded to the team catching the largest blue marlin by weight in the series. Only teams registered in the BTC Winner Take All Largest Marlin Jackpot will be eligible for this cash award.

BTC Crown Jewel Winner Take All Top Release Points Jackpot $20,000
The fee to enter the BTC Crown Jewel Winner Take All Top Release Points Jackpot is $20,000 and is optional. Teams must register before their first entered tournament fishing day in the series to be eligible. The BTC Crown Jewel Winner Take All Top Release Points Jackpot will be awarded to the top release points team of the Bermuda Triple Crown series. Only teams registered in the BTC Crown Jewel Winner Take All Top Release Points Jackpot will be eligible for these cash awards

Awards Presentation: 
The Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish champions will be recognized during the Sea Horse Anglers Club awards presentation July 21, 2026.

Prize Disbursement:
Each registered team representative is in control of any prize winnings and must sign a prize disbursement form specifying how the funds are to be distributed. If the funds are intended to be disbursed to multiple parties, each party must fill out a form signing off on their portion of the winnings and specifying how the funds are to be distributed (check, ACH or wire), in addition to providing a signed form W-9, if applicable. Funds will be disbursed 30 days from receipt of all necessary documents, as long as all tournament entry fees have cleared the bank. All funds will be paid from a US bank account in US dollars.

Bermuda Billfish Blast

BASE ENTRY FEE
The non-optional entry fee for the Bermuda Billfish Blast is $5,000.This fee covers participation for all registered anglers and allows teams to enter any of the optional jackpot categories. The tournament base entry fee prize money will be distributed accordingly: 50% retained by the tournament, with the remaining 50% paid out as follows:

  • 30% – Heaviest Marlin
  • 12% – 2nd Heaviest Marlin
  • 8% – 3rd Heaviest Marlin
  • 30% – 1st Overall Points
  • 12% – 2nd Overall Points
  • 8% – 3rd Overall Points


TEAM DIVISION AWARDS: 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE OVERALL

All registered teams are eligible for the Team Division Awards. Awards will be presented to the teams with the highest total points earned from billfish releases and weighed fish. Points are awarded as follows:

  • Blue marlin release: 500 points each
  • Blue marlin weighing 500 pounds or more: 1 point per pound
  • White marlin, spearfish, or sailfish release: 100 points each
  • A blue marlin that does not meet the 500-pound minimum will result in a 500-point penalty, plus 2 points deducted per pound under the minimum weight
  • Only one blue marlin per boat per day may be weighed


The highest-scoring teams will be recognized in the following placements:

  • 1st Place Overall Team
  • 2nd Place Overall Team
  • 3rd Place Overall Team


In the event of a tie, the team that reaches the highest score first—based on release time or boated-fish time—will be declared the winner.

TOP ANGLER AWARDS: OVERALL, LADY AND JUNIOR
All registered anglers are eligible for the Top Angler Awards. The award will be presented to the angler with the highest total points earned from billfish releases and weighed fish.

Points are awarded as follows:

  • Blue marlin release: 500 points each
  • Blue marlin weighing 500 pounds or more: 1 point per pound
  • White marlin, spearfish, or sailfish release: 100 points each


The highest-scoring angler in each of the following categories will receive a trophy and prizes:

  • Top Angler
  • Top Lady Angler: All registered female anglers
  • Top Junior Angler: All anglers age 17 and under


In the event of a tie, the angler who reaches the highest score first, based on release time or boated-fish time, will be declared the winner.

There are two levels of the optional Daily Billfish Release Jackpot. You must be entered in the level-one jackpot to participate in level-two. The Daily Billfish Release Jackpot will be awarded to the team that scores the most billfish release points on each day of fishing. Eligible species include blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish and spearfish. The total jackpot will be divided three ways, and be awarded to the team that scores the most billfish release points on Day One, Day Two, and Day Three of fishing. If no team in this category scores release points on a given day, that day’s jackpot will roll over to the following day. If no teams score release points on the final day of fishing, the remaining jackpot will be split between the winners of Day One and Day Two. In the event of a tie, the team reaching the highest score first wins, based on the official time of release. Only teams entered in this jackpot are eligible for these cash awards.

OVERALL BILLFISH RELEASE POINTS JACKPOT
Level 1 – $4,000
Level 2 – $6,000
There are two levels of optional Overall Billfish Release Points Jackpot. You must register in level-one to be eligible for the level-two jackpot. The Billfish Release Points Jackpot will be awarded to the top three teams with the most overall billfish release points of the tournament over the three days of fishing and will be awarded accordingly; First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%. In the event of a tie the team reaching the highest score first wins with the other team assuming the next award position. This is based on the official time of release. Only teams entered in this category are eligible for these cash awards.

WINNER-TAKE-ALL BILLFISH RELEASE JACKPOT

Entry in the Winner-Take-All Release Points Jackpot is optional. The jackpot will be awarded to the team with the most overall billfish release points of the tournament. The Top Three Overall Heaviest Blue Marlin Jackpot is an optional entry with three participation levels. Teams must enter level-one to be eligible for level-two, and level-two to be eligible for level-three. Level-one jackpot fee is $1,000; level-two jackpot fee is $2,000, level-three jackpot fee is $5,000. This jackpot awards prizes to the three heaviest blue marlin caught during the tournament that meet or exceed the 500-pound minimum weight requirement. Payouts are distributed as follows: First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%.

In the event that no teams in the Top Three Overall Heaviest Blue Marlin Jackpot catch a qualifying fish (500 lbs or greater), the Top Three Overall Heaviest Blue Marlin Jackpot entry will be returned less a 15% fee. Only teams entered in this jackpot are eligible for these cash prizes.

If no qualifying wahoo are caught by teams entered in this jackpot, the jackpot will instead be awarded to the teams weighing the top three heaviest marlin (500 lbs or greater), distributed as follows: First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%. If no qualifying blue marlin are caught by teams entered in this jackpot, the jackpot will instead be awarded to the top three teams with the most release points and distributed as follows: First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%.

BASE ENTRY FEE 
The non-optional entry fee for the Sea Horse Anglers Club is $4,000.This fee covers participation for all registered anglers and allows teams to enter any of the optional jackpot categories. The tournament base entry fee prize money will be distributed accordingly: 50% retained by the tournament, with the remaining 50% paid out as follows: 

  • 30% – Heaviest Marlin
  • 12% – 2nd Heaviest Marlin
  • 8% – 3rd Heaviest Marlin
  • 30% – 1st Overall Points
  • 12% – 2nd Overall Points
  • 8% – 3rd Overall Points


TEAM DIVISION AWARDS: 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE OVERALL
All registered teams are eligible for the Team Division Awards. Awards will be presented to the teams with the highest total points earned from billfish releases and weighed fish. 

Points are awarded as follows: 

  • Blue marlin release: 500 points each
  • Blue marlin weighing 500 pounds or more: 1 point per pound White marlin, spearfish, or sailfish release: 100 points each
  • A blue marlin that does not meet the 500-pound minimum will result in a 500-point penalty, plus 2 points deducted per pound under the minimum weight ● Only one blue marlin per boat per day may be weighed


The highest-scoring teams will be recognized in the following placements:
 

  • 1st Place Overall Team
  • 2nd Place Overall Team
  • 3rd Place Overall Team


In the event of a tie, the team that reaches the highest score first—based on release
time or boated-fish time—will be declared the winner.

TOP ANGLER AWARDS: OVERALL, LADY AND JUNIOR 
All registered anglers are eligible for the Top Angler Awards. The award will be presented to the angler with the highest total points earned from billfish releases and weighed fish. 

Points are awarded as follows: 

  • Blue marlin release: 500 points each
  • Blue marlin weighing 500 pounds or more: 1 point per pound White marlin, spearfish, or sailfish release: 100 points each


The highest-scoring angler in each of the following categories will receive a trophy and
prizes: 

  • Top Angler
  • Top Lady Angler: All registered female anglers
  • Top Junior Angler: All anglers age 17 and under

DAILY BILLFISH RELEASE JACKPOT 
Level 1 – $2,000 
Level 2 – $4,000 
There are two levels of the optional Daily Billfish Release Jackpot. You must be entered in the level-one jackpot to participate in level-two. The Daily Billfish Release Jackpot will be awarded to the team that scores the most billfish release points on each day of fishing. Eligible species include blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish and spearfish. The total jackpot will be divided three ways, and be awarded to the team that scores the most billfish release points on Day One, Day Two, and Day Three of fishing. If no team in this category scores release points on a given day, that day’s jackpot will roll over to the following day. If no teams score release points on the final day of fishing, the remaining jackpot will be split between the winners of Day One and Day Two. In the event of a tie, the team reaching the highest score first wins, based on the official time of release. Only teams entered in this jackpot are eligible for these cash awards. 

OVERALL BILLFISH RELEASE POINTS JACKPOT

There are two levels of optional Overall Billfish Release Points Jackpot. You must register in level-one to be eligible for the level-two jackpot. The Billfish Release Points Jackpot will be awarded to the top three teams with the most overall billfish release points of the tournament over the three days of fishing and will be awarded accordingly; First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%. In the event of a tie the team reaching the highest score first wins with the other team assuming the next award position. This is based on the official time of release. Only teams registered in the Billfish Release Points Jackpot will be eligible for these cash awards. Only teams entered in this category are eligible for these cash awards. 

WINNER-TAKE-ALL BILLFISH RELEASE JACKPOT

The Winner-Take-All Release Points Jackpot will be awarded to the top team with the most overall billfish release points of the tournament over the three days of fishing. In the event of a tie the team reaching the highest score first wins. This is based on the official time of release. Only teams entered in this category are eligible for these cash awards.

Level 2 – $4,000 
There are two levels of the optional Daily Blue Marlin Jackpot. You must register in level-one to be eligible for the level-two jackpot. Level-one jackpot fee is $2,000 and the level-two jackpot fee is $4,000 and covers all three days of fishing. Each day, the jackpot is awarded to the team that catches the heaviest blue marlin meeting or exceeding the 500-pound minimum weight requirement. The total jackpot pool is divided evenly across the three days, with each day’s prize consisting of one-third of the total jackpot. If no qualifying fish (500 lbs or greater) is weighed on a given day, that day’s jackpot will roll over to the next fishing day. If no qualifying fish are caught on the final day, the final day’s jackpot will be awarded to the previous day’s winner.

In the event that no teams in the Daily Blue Marlin Jackpot catch a qualifying fish (500 lbs or greater), the Daily Blue Marlin Jackpot entry will be returned less a 15% fee. Only teams entered in this jackpot are eligible for these cash awards. 

TOP THREE OVERALL HEAVIEST BLUE MARLIN

There are two levels of the optional Top Three Overall Heaviest Blue Marlin Jackpot. You must register in level-one to be eligible for the level-two jackpot. Level-one jackpot fee is $2,000; level-two jackpot fee is $4,000. This jackpot awards prizes to the three heaviest blue marlin caught during the tournament that meet or exceed the 500-pound minimum weight requirement. Payouts are distributed as follows: First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%

In the event that no teams in the Top Three Overall Heaviest Blue Marlin Jackpot catch a qualifying fish (500 lbs or greater), the Top Three Heaviest Blue Marlin Jackpot entry will be returned less a 15% fee. Only teams entered in this jackpot are eligible for these cash prizes.

Only teams registered in this category are eligible for cash prizes from this category. 

OVERALL POINTS 50/30/20 JACKPOT

There are two levels of optional Total Overall Points 50/30/20 Jackpot. You must register in level one to be eligible for the level-two jackpot. Level-one jackpot fee is $2,000; level-two jackpot fee is $4,000. The Total Overall Points 50/30/20 Jackpot will be awarded to the top three teams with the most total overall points of the tournament over the three days of fishing and be awarded accordingly: First Place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%. Only teams entered in this jackpot will be eligible for these cash awards. 

WINNER-TAKE-ALL HEAVIEST GAMEFISH JACKPOT 
$1000 
The fee to get into the optional Winner Take All Heaviest Gamefish Jackpot is $1,000 and is optional. Eligible Species are Wahoo and Tuna. The Winner Take All Heaviest Gamefish Jackpot will be awarded to the team with the heaviest gamefish of the tournament over the three days of fishing. If no qualifying gamefish are caught by teams entered in this jackpot, the jackpot will instead be awarded to the teams weighing the top three heaviest marlin (500 lbs or greater), distributed as follows: First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%. If no qualifying blue marlin are caught by teams entered in this jackpot, the jackpot will instead be awarded to the top three teams with the most release points and distributed as follows: First place 50%, Second Place 30%, Third Place 20%. 

Only teams entered in this jackpot will be eligible for these cash awards. 

PRIZE DISBURSEMENT 
Each registered team representative is in control of any prize winnings and must sign a prize disbursement form specifying how the funds are to be distributed. If the funds are intended to be disbursed to multiple parties, each party must fill out a form signing off on their portion of the winnings and specifying how the funds are to be distributed (check, ACH or wire), in addition to providing a signed form W-9, if applicable. Funds will be disbursed 30 days from receipt of all necessary documents, as long as all tournament entry fees have cleared the bank. All funds will be paid from a US bank account in US dollars.
